摘要:The aim of the present study is to figure out the pre-service primary school teachers’ opinions related to their program within the context of the environmental issues. With reference to the aim of the study, the pre-service primary school teachers’ opinions related to the environmental issues were gathered and additionally, they were asked to evaluate their program in terms of its contribution in the subject of the environmental issues. The participants of this study were 65 pre-service primary school teachers who enrolled in the 4th grade of Primary School Teacher Training Program at Anadolu University. The data of the present study were gathered through a questionnaire which has open-ended questions. The gathered data were analyzed through descriptive analysis technique which is one of the data analysis techniques in quantitative studies. The findings of the study revealed, the pre-service primary school teachers believe that the main source of the environmental issues is the insensitivity of the human. Participants state that water pollution, air pollution and global warming are the fundamental environmental issues. In terms of the contribution of the program to the pre-service teachers’ perception related to the environmental issues, some of the participants found it relatively inefficient, whereas, some of the participants found the contribution as sufficient
