摘要:This study is based on the determination of the factors that influenced decisions on the localisation, in one of four defined geographical areas (The European Union, Latin America, other OECD countries and the Rest of the world) of the new foreign investments of 63 Spanish companies from 1993 to 1999.The characteristics of the investing company and those of the foreign market are among the most important factors considered. We found that both groups of factors have an influence on the localisation decision and the weight of influence varied according to the area where the investment was to be made.
