摘要：The business opportunities in Southern Africa have originated a growing interest on the part of foreign investors in markets like Mozambique. Thisfact justifies any effort to learn more about the phenomenon of the transfer of knowledge to subsidiaries in Mozambique. We studied threecases with activities in the industrial sector. The results obtained indicatedthat an efficientknowledgetransfer from the source to the recipient dependson(1) the factors that determine the assimilation on the part of the subsidiary oftheknowledgetransferred to itfrom theMNE headquarters;(2)the subsidiary's absorptive capacity for the improvement of itscompetitivenesswithin the framework of the inter-organizational cooperation,and(3)the capacity to successfully overcomethe difficulties arising in the transfer operations
