摘要：We.report.the.results. of.a.project.developed.with.the.purpose. of."translating".the. Iliad. into. the. sequential. language. of. comic. or. cartoon. strips,. hoping. to. reclaim. the.imagistic.strength.of.the.epic.attributed.to.Homer..In.the.process,.we.have.chosen.not.to.emphasize. narrative. content,. but. rather. give. priority. to. the. style. and. the. rhetorical.devices.used.in. the. Greek. text..This.approach. seeks.to.counterbalance.some.commercial.adaptations. of. Homer. which. focus. on. the. rewriting. of. content. and. plot.. We. have.attempted.to.associate.comics. and. ancient. rhetoric. within. the.narrative.process,. thereby.opening.up.the.possibility.of.approaching.visuality.through.figures.of.speech..
