摘要:This article is concerned primarily with thechallenges of presenting clinical material fromimprovisational music therapy. My aim is topropose a model for the transcription of musictherapy material, or "musicotherapeutic objects"(comparable to Bion's "psychoanalytic objects"),which preserves the integrated "gestalt" of themusical experience as far as possible, whilst alsosupporting detailed analysis and interpretation.Unwilling to resort to use of visual documentation, but aware that many important indicators in musictherapy are non-sounding, I propose a richlyannotated score, where traditional music notationis integrated with graphic and verbal additions, inorder to document non-sounding events. This modelis illustrated within the context of a clinical casewith a high functioning autistic woman. The fourtranscriptions, together with the original audiotracks, present significant moments during thecourse of music therapy, attesting to thedevelopment of the dyadic relationship, withreference to John Bowlby's concept ofa"securebase" as the most appropriate dynamicenvironment for therapy
