摘要：This research paper gives an introduction to the new location based services platform for mobile communication as well as a comparative evaluation with regard to other mobile operating systems. The key topic of this research paper is the indoor positioning techniques. Therefore it first gives a historical introduction to new technologies related location based services. Then it describes the main features of TRILATERATION METHOD for a better understanding of this platform. In the following paper, the trilateration method will be compared to the fingerprinting method. Features and criteria defined in this part will be considered and included in the comparison of these systems. The practical part contains mathematical part of the Euclidean distance with RSSI based localization algorithm. Finally an outlook and a conclusion complete this elaboration
