摘要：A mobil e Ad hoc network (MANET) is a set of wirel ess mobile nodes th at can com mun icate with each other without usin g any fi xed infrastructure. It is also necessary for MANET devices to communi cate i n a seaml ess manner. Th ere are multiple rou ting protocols th at h ave been developed for MANETS . Th ere i s a n eed to su pport real time and mul timedia application s in MANETs as th ey gain popularity. This paper focuse s on perfo rman ce in vesti gation of reactive and proactive MANET rou ting protocols, namely AODV, TORA and OLSR. Therefore, thi s paper pr esents a perfor mance comparison of the selected MANET routin g protocols in a Real time data (voice) with in creasing area and node s size to in vesti gate mobi lity and scalability of the routi ng process
