摘要:This article reports on the results from a structured survey returned from participants in Bulgaria,Hungary, Italy, Lithuania, Romania, Spain and Turkey (together with an agreed shortersubmission from Cyprus). Participant countries' status of use of information and communicationtechnology (ICT) in adult education specifically the national or regional policies in place,curriculum framework for the use of ICT in practice, availabilityof online learning resources andtools, reflections, insights, and challenges were examined. Furthermore the article sheds somelight on potential useof mobile phones and games as ICT tools in adult education. The result ofthis study suggests that although in some of the countries, especially the new member andcandidate countries, firmly-conceived national strategies for adult education are only beginning toemerge. The drive to develop in line with EU goals, policies and standards on lifelong learning isnow creating opportunities for innovative approaches everywhere
