摘要：There are many noise reduction techniques have been developed for removing noise and retaining edge details in images. Choice of de-noising algorithm is application dependent and depends upon the type of noise present in the image. Each technique has its own assumptions, advantages and limitations. The idea behind these techniques is to acquiesce better results in terms of quality and in removal of different noises. This paper covers almost all the de-noising techniques.
