摘要：The author's opinion is that numerous areas of human activity (particularly industry and science and technology) have been going through such a vigorous period of expansion that there is less and less room for political action. This particularly applies to the foreign policy sovereignty of individual states as well as to the possibilities of formulating domestic policy alternatives. This has been the main reason that the programmes of different parties are so similar and indistinguishable. In contrast to conservative parties which always insist on the reality and the history as the yardstick, leftist parties have turned to the future. They address to those whose reality is not a bed of roses due to economic reasons as well as to those people, found in all social strata, who are looking for alternatives to the existing systems.
