摘要：Many of today’s students live online, and social networking is an important part of their daily communications. This study investigates the use of social networking in the university classroom, surveying both students and faculty. A total of 182 students and 64 faculty from a northeast university provided usable responses. Findings indicate that social networking is not heavily used in the classroom, however it plays an important role in personal communications.
