摘要:Studio-Based Learning (SBL) is an approach to teaching and learning that emphasizes the collaborative application of course skills, critical analysis, and communication. Design-oriented components of SBL include: (1) Construction of a solution, (2) Presentation of the solution, (3) Peer review of the solution, and (4) Modification of solution integrating peer review. This paper describes an implementation and the results to date of the SBL approach at two sister institutions in the introductory programming classes. This experiment is part of a NSF funded CPATH study on the use of Studio-Based Learning in computing classes being conducted among multiple institutions.
