摘要：This paper presents some relevant issues pertaining to development and use of decision support systems that are global in nature. Some design considerations along with intricacies of the global dimension are considered. Cultural aspects of such systems are examined, including fallacies that lead to development problems of such systems. The role of outsourcing and the role of Internet are briefly examined. Finally some recommendations and applications of such global decision support systems are discussed.
