摘要：This paper analyses different aspects of fault tolerance system. Meaning of fault tolerance system is given in detail then concepts related to fault tolerant computing are defined for example failures, errors, faults, types of faults, types of fault tolerant systems. Fault tolerance is the to increase dependability of the system so that cases of failures of system are tolerated without any loss. Various types of fault tolerance systems are discussed like software fault tolerant, hardware fault tolerant, critical applications.
