摘要：Feature-Oriented Programming (FOP) is a new paradigm which allows decomposition of a program into its constituent features. Typically, from a set of features many different software systems can be generated that share common features and differ in other features incrementally. In the present study, the application of FOP methodology has been investigated in the development of the banking software: MGBankSoft using Eclipse-FeatureIDE environment. The investigation aims to reveal the usefulness of FOP methodology in software development for banking system. The study concludes that FOP methodology in Eclipse- FeatureIDE environment offers powerful support for modular design and implementation of banking software system with user selected features. Symbiosis of FOP and AOP can further improve the software evolution.
