摘要：Wireless sensor networks have been kept evolving due to the advancements in various technologies like radio, battery and operating systems in sensor elements but mac protocols are still most important in wsn because the exact implementation of communication among sensors is derived by the mac protocols. Battery consumption, network lifetime, communication latency, packet collisions are some very important factors those depends on mac protocols used in a wireless sensor networks. T Mac and S Mac have been two landmark protocols in wireless sensor networks protocols because of their utility and ease of implementation along with simplicity.
