  • 摘要:In today’s world of internet age, there is need of reliable communication between two parties, but due to some reasons like interference or noise reliable communication is a great hurdle. There are lots of error detection and correction methods out of which some are used for single bit error detection and correction and others are used for burst error. We are applying our concept of matrix in order to detect and correct a single bit error. Matrix method works on odd and even parity. We check rows and columns of sending and receiving bits, if all the parity i.e. row and column is matched with the original matrix then data is error free otherwise there is an error in some bit of bit stream towards receiver end. Once the error is detected then we apply one bit correction process. Error is corrected by changing that particular error bit from zero to one or vice versa because only two values are possible either zero or one. So this method is useful for single bit error detection and correction.
