摘要：Maintenance is an integral part of any manufacturing organization and has become increasingly important in obtaining competitive advantage. Some of the managers are not aware of different maintenance strategies and are unable to reap maximum benefit from it. This paper is an effort to identify different maintenance practices followed in Indian manufacturing industries and what are the advantages and disadvantages associated with it. Moreover, future recommendations based on the study are given.
