摘要:WSNs are composed of a large number of sensor nodes, which communicate in a radio channel. The main aim of the network consists of a sensing a certain physical variable, gathering data and forwarding them to the base station where the information is processed for further purposes. The topology of WSN is mostly considered as a mesh type and the communication can be either single-hop or multi-hop depending typically on the size of the network.Wireless sensor networks, which due to their design are especially vulnerable to intrusion or attack. So it is important to find security mechanisms which deal with the limited resources of such systems in terms of energy consumption, memory requirement and computational capabilities.This paper discusses and evaluates several approaches of Artificial Immune System according to their suitability for intrusion and attack detection in WSN.
