摘要:This study aims to determine the problems that Information Technology (IT) instructors and students encounter in terms of the objectives, content, learning-teaching process and testing and evaluation of the units titled "I am Introducing My School and "I am Making Calculations", which are introduced in the sixth grade IT course in primary schools. The study group of this study, a qualitative research, was composed of 12 IT teachers and 36 students. The interview, focus group interview and observational data collection methods were used. A descriptive analysis was used in analyzing the data. The implications are as follows: The attainability of the objectives in "I am Making Calculations" was found low. It is also seen that the time allotted for the units and the methodology behind the teacher's manual and students' workbooks are inadequate. Having more than one student per computer at a time can create a negative influence on the process. Computers can be insufficient due to their poor hardware. It is seen that the "What have I Learned" sections are good for reviewing and reinforcing what was acquired in a unit.
