摘要：On the actual conditions of global amplifi cation integration process of Romania’s economy in the European economy, occupancy and utilization of the labor force detaches as a high importance problem of the sustainable economic development. This article analyses the labor force main features in general and the labor force from the processing industry, in particular. There are underlined the main dimensions of the demographic evolution, as a source of the labor force supply, and also the active population categories, employed population and employees. The occupancy structure at the level of activities and its trend represents the barometer of economical modernization and it is underlined in statistic data. As a result of the analysis there are expressed some strong and weak points, and also some action directions in order to improve the labor parameters in Romania and of its consistence with the European labor force.
