The literature on migration and remittances is interested now in two problems: the effects of post-enlargement EU migration and the consequences of the actual and contagious crisis. Five years after EU-10 enlargement free migration represent a solution rather than a foe for labor markets, but the crisis gives another dimension for the open character of labor markets moving to a different stage. This study mainly focused in remittances determinants and consequences together with new trends in European migration.
