摘要：Considering the sport as a matter historiographic and relevant to understand issues related to culture and social practices, this article explores elements of sportivization and marginalization of the skateboard - designed as a extreme sport and young in Brazil. Fruit of a dissertation in History held at the Federal University of Great Dourados (UFGD) in January 2007, the proposal part of the logic of a History of Time Present and investigates changes between the decades of 60 and 80 of the last century, period that includes both the introduction of the practice of skateboard in the country as its ban by the city of Sao Paulo. Being a search based on benchmarks of Cultural History, she uses is a series of journals, letters and testimonials to understand the representations of skaters in the urban space, seeking also interpret the association between this activity and punk culture
