摘要:The underlying study of the working paper has been conducted in the Framework of the GLOWA Volta Project (GVP), led by the Centre for Development Research at the University of Bonn, Germany. The GVP, divided in three phases (2000 – 2003, 2003 – 2006, 2006 - 2009) and financed by the German Ministry for Research and Education and the State North-Rhine-Westphalia, is an interdisciplinary and international research project, which aims at improving water allocation in the Volta Basin of the West African savannah zone under climate change conditions. One of the main objectives of the project is the development of a scientifically sound and user-friendly decision support system (DSS) to be used by water management actors at different societal levels.
