摘要：To study the relation between change in height of the R wave in the electrocardiogram and respiratory rate, change in height of the R wave, respiratory rate, and the R-R interval were measured. The respiratory rate was measured directly on a respirogram and was estimated from the change in height of the R wave by using the turning points method and cycles in the autocorrelation function. The respiratory rate obtained from the autocorrelation agreed closely with the rate obtained from the respirogram.
