摘要:The object of this study is to evaluate the effect of the Low Intensity Exercise (LIE) on the blood glucose control of non-insulin-dependent diabetics with complications. The LIE, walking exercise at the rate of one step per second which requires 40 % of the maximum heart rate, was performed on five patients. One patient with retinopathy showed a decrease in fasting blood glucose value after the LIE following 7 day diet therapy. The 3 day LIE following 14 day diet therapy led the fasting blood glucose value normalin two NIDDs with rt-CVA patients (Brs. 6). Two NIDDs with angina pectoris and hypertension could be released from oral agents by performing the LIE. No patients rejectied LIE or worse hed complications. These results suggested the LIE is effective in blood glucose control for non-insulin dependent diabetics with complications.
