摘要:The change of reaction time in the upper extremities were examines each 9 subjects of young group(the average age;20.3 ± 0.7) and aged group(the average age;68.0 ± 5.4). With the signal of regular electrical stimulation to the non-tested forearm, the subject moved the tested hand as soon and correct as possible at the 3 points on the front wall. The EMG of deltoid and electrical contracts of the 3 points ( from the horizontal, to the upward and the other upward points) were simultaneously recorded. Resulrs as follows; 1)All subjects of each group showed no significant difference in the reaction time(RT), motor time(MT) and premotor time(PMT) between handed and nonhanded uppers. The aged group revealed longer RT and MT than the young group. 2)The young group showed longer time for the movement of 3 points by the non-handed than the handed upper, while the aged group had the longer time by handed upper. Although the ratio of UT(the moving time from the horizontal to the upward point) to the total time for moving 3 points was the same between the two groups(approximately 16%), the ratio of moving time in the spatial distances to the total time was around 55-58 %, not dependent on age and handed side. These results suggest that the difference between the handed and non-handed was not qualititative, but quantitative.
