摘要:Among healthy young adult subjects, shoulder joint CPM was evaluated by 1) shift from the assigned angle, 2) muscle electric discharge of upper extremity when wearing CPM, and 3) bloodflow during CPM employment. During flexion movement, the angle shifted approximately 10 - 15 degrees both in raising and lowering of limbs, while it shifted 5 degrees in lowering and 10 degrees in raising during abduction movement.Muscle activity was observed in the middle points of trapezius and deltoid muscles, and broad muscle of back of the employed side, and in greater pectoral muscle of the unemployed side. However, muscle electric discharge disappeared at the 3rd employments of CPM, and was not confirmed even at the 30th employments.Although bloodstream was reduced in raising of limbs during abduction movement, it showed no difference during flexion movement. These results indicate that special attention should be paid on fixation of shoulders CPM and compression of a support when applying it to patients who are in sitting or standing postures.
