摘要:In this paper, we consider two new attributes group sampling plans for time truncated life tests. We propose improved single and double group sampling plans based on the total number of failures from the whole groups. The design parameters of the proposed plans are determined using the two-point approach such that the producer’s and con- sumer’s risks are satisfied simultaneously at the acceptable reliability level and the lot tolerance reliability level, respectively. The case of the Weibull distribution is described to illustrate the procedure that can be used when the mean life is expressed by a mul- tiple of the specified life. Tables are constructed for various combinations of group size and quality level. The advantage of the proposed plan is shown by comparing with the existing single and two-stage group sampling plans in terms of the average sample number.
