摘要：In the urban environment, one can find the main socio- environmental concerns of the present days. That is, the human being plus his needs and interests, transforming the natural environment into an artificial one. Consequently, the urban space is submitted to metamorphoses never seen before by the man in his territorial configuration. The present study aims at analyzing the dynamics of the use of the edges of Tiririca riverbank, located in the Mecejana neighborhood, in the city of Boa Vista (RR), taking into account its socioenvironmental dynamics in relation to the agents who promote the local urban space. The research focuses on the region initiated at the geographical coordinate of 02º 49' 33.9'' North Latitude, and 60º 41'25.3'' West Longitude, finishing at the geographical coordinates of 02º49'08.0” North Latitude and 60º41'25.3” West Longitude. The research will certainly render technical and scientific support to Preservation Programs of riverbanks existing in Boa Vista municipality, particularly the Tiririca Riverbank.
