  • 摘要:Steel timbering in elastic construction, designed with a symmetrical arrangement of elements (beam on the two pillars), continues to represent the basic system ensuring the stability of underground excavations, taking provisional capital in case of investment (e.g. tunnels, underground railways, adduction galleries, etc..) or permanently in case of mining opening and preparation of deposits of useful mineral substances (coal and ores). To ensure stability, with the most reduced material, labor and costs, it becomes strictly necessary to introduce and apply the criterion for assessing the timbering after assessing the consumption of metal, to optimize the performance parameters of the components. In the work shall be required in assessing the consumption of metal and weight of mills for metallic timbering elements, and to optimize cross-section of the elements depending on the characteristics and behavior of the deformation of intercepted rocks.
