摘要:The paper describes a series of experimental results regarding surfaces roughness achieved at ultrasound field facing. Researches considered the facing of three materials, namely OL 37, Al, 10 TiNiCr180 respectively. The paper also considered mainly the geometric parameters of the cutting tool (kr - main cutting angle, kr ’ - secondary cutting angle, rε – tool top radius). Results have proved that surfaces roughness achieved at ultrasound field facing is higher than the one achieved in the absence of facing with no ultrasound vibrations
