  • 摘要:The aim of this study was to detect the influence of Origanum aetheroleum essential oil on health and growth of broiler chickens. In this experiment feed stuff enriched with 0.05 % Origanum aetheroleum essential oil was used. The experiment was carried out on two groups – control (without addition of essential oil) and experimental group (addition of 0.05 % of Origanum aetheroleum essential oil). Samples of caecal chime were used for determination of microbial counts of Enterococcus sp., which ranged from 5.02 to 6.03 log CFU.g-1. The population of Lactobacillus sp. ranged from 5.48 to 6.88 log CFU.g-1, and those of Enterobacteriaceae sp. from 6.35 to 7.41 log CFU.g-1. Feeding of feed mixtures with Origami aetheroleum addition caused the increase of Lactobacillus sp. and Enterococcus sp. as well as Enterobacteriaceae sp. counts in the experimental group in comparison to the control group. method.
