摘要:The aim of the paper was to evaluate the production and quality of new barley varieties KM 2010 and KM 2092 in the years 2003 and 2004 in relation to selected biotic and abiotic factors. Two methods of tillage: OBZ - conventional tillage, TBZ – disk harrowing (minimum tillage) were used. Four variants of fertilization: a - control, b – 50 kg.ha-1 N (25 kg.ha-1 N before sowing and 25 kg.ha-1 N at the growth stage of 3 - 4 leaves), c - (same as for variant b) + CAMPOFORT FORTESTIM ALFA @ 7 l.ha-1, d - (same as for variant b) + HUMIX UNIVERZAL @ 5 l.ha-1. The weather conditions expressed as hydrotermic index was an important factor that affected the yield and quality of hulless barley. Soil cultivation, fertilization and variety as factors significantly affected the yield and quality indicators of barley. Average over two years showed statistically significant differences between class I grain proportion and bulk density; and again between thousand grains weight (TGW) and crude protein content in the case of minimum tillage method (TBZ). Differences in grain yield, in proportion of class I grains, in crude protein and β-glucans content as influenced by the fertilization were not statistically significant. The KM 2092 variety recorded statistically significant higher grain yield, TGW and β-glucans content over two years average. Year of cultivation had a high statistically significant impact on grain yield and mechanical quality indicators. Higher levels of crude protein and β-glucans were noted in the year with worse weather conditions during the growing season. The proportion of class I grains and TGW significantly affected the grain yield, which was confirmed by strong correlation. A moderately negative correlation was found between bulk density and grain yield, particularly between bulk density and proportion of class I grains. A strong negative correlation was found between TGW and bulk density.
