摘要：People have lived with glass as a building material for several thousand years. Its use and technological evolution naturally continue into areas such as computerized control systems, coating techniques, solar control technology and “ smart matter ”, the integration of micro-electronic and mechanical know-how to create glass which is able to “ react ” to external forces. Despite these innovations, glass is a product that most people look through without paying specific attention to its performance characteristics.
