摘要:This study explores the effects of the current job market on the psychological well-being of undergraduate social work students. Psychological well-being is defined as the assertiveness, self-esteem, and depression levels of the students. The general conclusions of the study suggest that the students were not affected psychologically by current economic conditions in the social services. It is concluded that more research should be conducted on the effects of the current job market on social work professionals due to reduced spending at the federal and state levels for social services.
