摘要：We report results from a high-statistics calculation of pseudoscalar flavor singlet masses with Asqtad staggered fermions and discuss the implications for the validity of the "fourth-root trick" used in the staggered formulation. We calculate the masses of the h and h′ mesons and the associated mixing angles. We find no evidence of pathology introduced by the “fourth-root trick”.
