摘要：Public data of different types of High Mass X-Ray Binaries have been analyzed. We have devel- oped a classification scheme based on their temporal variability and spectral properties. We find that the Be X-Ray binaries tend to show harder spectra than those of Supergiant X-ray Binaries and that the use of the statistical normalized variance seems to be a promising tool to identify source type.
