摘要：The research activity of Ileana, from 1956 to 1980, is briefly reported. The focus is on a number of relevant results that she obtained with her dedicated work and that were at the frontier of research in Nuclear Physics. They concern pioneer contributions to the building blocks of nuclear reaction mechanisms: evaporative processes, statistical fluctuations, dynamics of the two- and three-nucleon transfers reactions and of pre-equilibrium processes.
