摘要:This study examines preschool teacher training program models in the UK, Germany, France, Italy
and Russia, compares them with the preschool teacher training programs in Turkey, and makes some suggestions.
The study employs a horizontal approach to be able to make the comparisons, a frequently used method in education
studies. As data sources, web sites of various universities in the six countries under study, as well as scholarly
articles and theses, were used.
