摘要:After whole-lake rotenone treatment, we described the population size, standing stock, age structure, and growth of grass pickerel (Esox americranus vermiculutus) in Pony Lake, Nebraska. Density and biomass were lower and growth of grass pickerel was slower than other reported populations of this species. Reduced submersed vegetation due to an abundance of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) likely resulted in poor quality habitat for grass pickerel and subsequent low population density.
