摘要:The «specificity» of anthropological researches is -in the author's opinion- neither in the «grounds» or «scenarios» in which it is investigated, nor in the type of skills that is applied, but rather in the usage by the researcher, who has been formed according to a "anthropological focus" and who, at the same time, inserts these skills inside the process of ethnographical research. Therefore it is necessary first, to know what this focus could consist of and second, to establish the main methodological consequences that are derived from ethnographical processes. This article defends the idea that anthropology should not refuse quantification procedures. At this same time it must consider research skills (in the way of Hammersley and Atkinson) as a form of social situations, in that the definitions that the social agents make in the situation created by the interview, survey, or any other skill should impact on their actions and, consequently, in the nature of the data that are obtained.
