摘要:The article presented here aims at analyzing sms of pupils attending the 2nd and 3rd cycles of basic education, seeking to ascertain to what extent their written records differ, regarding their lexical content, from the standard regulations set by dictionaries and grammars. In order to identify these changes, we will adopt an ethnographic methodology, based on a case study, and establish a comparison between the sms written by students of both education cycles.The analysis will focus on the type of vocabulary used by a student of the 2nd and a student of the 3rd cycle and try will demonstrate that there is a tendency of rapprochement between the oral and writing components, and that the use of logographic writing is a school reality. This article also highlights the fact that this context of writing isn’t considered a menace to official grammars.
