摘要:The aim of this study is to analyse which words teacher training students
use to associate concepts related with sociocultural diversity and the teaching
profession. The collected data set has been obtained by a word association test
filled by teacher training students of third, and last. academic year of the School
of Teacher Education of Toledo (University of Castilla-La Mancha). The results
obtained show, on one hand, which are the words that students associate with
each concept, and on the other hand, that some of these associations are
influenced by value judgments and concrete images. These results should be
taken into account in the initial phase of teacher training because in kindergarten
and primary education levels it is often the presence of foreign immigrant
students.
