摘要:This study examines the processes of construction of what we call innovative pedagogical
practices in the school Physical Education (PE). For achieving this goal, we adopted the case
studies, in which we analyze several elements that constitute the teaching practice, such
as the teachers’ life stories and the dimensions of the pedagogical action. The data were
interpreted according to three categories of analysis: 1) the meanings of school and of being
a PE teacher, 2) the didactic-pedagogical treatment of the contents and 3) school culture: the
restricted isolation and the search for recognition in contexts of resistance to changes.
