  • 摘要:The aim of this paper is characterize bullying in Portuguese Adolescents and the different types of victims and perpetrators, as well as behaviors and skills associated. We present the results of the international collaborative study WHO, Health Behavior in School Aged Children across three studies 1998, 2002 and 2006 (Matos et al., 2001, 2003, 2006). It is presented to compare the patterns of violence and provocation over the 3 studies. Then, two in depth research studies are presented: (1) association is examined from a number of different types of bullying behaviors (as provoked and provocative) and some predictor variables, behavioral variables. Most of the behavioral variables related to risk is associated positively and significantly with all bullying behaviors, (2) impact of certain factors involved in cases of bullying, allowing to develop an explanatory model. According to this model, the main life contexts (family, friends, colleagues and teachers) are related to bullying through their impact on satisfaction with the school and the physical and psychological symptoms. The results of this first study translate into practical guidelines for intervention with the problem of bullying, to emphasize the importance of pupils perceive school safety, prevent the carrying of weapons and contribute to student satisfaction. The results of the second in-depth study have revealed that the determinants of bullying differ in type or degree of impact that have these behaviors. Satisfaction with the school seems to be more important to the provocation and the dual involvement and, in turn, teachers and colleagues the most important factor for satisfaction with school. The physical and psychological symptoms seem to be a risk factor for the 3 profiles, and family and colleagues appear as the most important protective factor in this field. In the conclusions are discussed responses to school bullying among peers at school, presented the Program for Promotion of personal and social skills in preventing violence among young people in Portugal and defended the prevention of school violence Portuguese perspective on Health Education.
