This work makes reference to five studies realized by a research project titled “The pain culture in the process of subjectivity production” developed by GRECO (Study Team about Corporality). These took place in Cascavel city/PR/Brazil involving people belonging to schools institutions, hospitals, gym clubs and tattooed groups. These studies have specifics characteristics about subject matter problematical and also the methodological proceeding used in the research: application and analysis of interviews, questions, such as direct observation and realization of focal groups. Those aspects are presented in this work pretending to move on to a given meaning of pain in the actual context and also as form of register a interdisciplinary research experience that pretends to contribute to the comprehension

about the actual human condition.
