This paper intends to present: 1) The reception of the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in Brazil; 2) Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s concept of grace as a critical tool to analyze Brazilian Neopentecostalism. Bonhoeffer’s The Cost of Discipleship (“Nachfolge”) is the primary source of this paper.
