摘要：This research will ascertain the importance councilmen/women from the Great ABC region attribute to gender when planning public policies. More precisely, it will check their opinions, attitudes and beliefs as to promoting equality between men and women within the subject of public policies. This research may be defined as an analytical survey, because it intends not only to describe the features of a population but also to ascertain the relationship among the variants. The information collected in this research may prove useful both to Women Movements or feminist organizations and to public administrators in order to draw new strategies to make local councilmen/women more sensitive to the issue.
