摘要:This paper analyzes the style of life and survival of groups located inhabitants of the seaside in the Island of Marambaia, area of Environmental Protection, located in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The Emphasis is given about the relationship of these microcosms with intervention institutions, along a path historic, as well as the reflexes current of that relationship in terms of potentialities and embarrassments for the group. For the development of the research, they combined techniques of exploratory and descriptive research, analysis of secondary data and drawing of a deliberate sample in 10 family nuclei. The results appear that in spite of the lack of incentives for the traditional communities' development, there are an own movement of the resistance group and maintenance of his identity.
